Tramlines 2010 – ‘Tramlines Times’ Festival Introduction

A sequel is never better than the original. That difficult second album. Forget these ill-founded clichés about second comings because Tramlines is back bigger and better than its predecessor. Imagine a ‘Terminator 2’, ‘Aliens’ and ‘The Bends’ mash up and you’re starting to get the picture.

Following on from the overwhelming success of the 2009 festival, this citywide celebration of everything Sheffield has to offer is back with more bands, more venues and most importantly, more you.

It all kicks off from 4pm today at Penelopes. From then on you can expect anything and everything, from Professor Green to 65 Days Of Static, Tinchy Stryder to Dinosaur Pile Up. Local. National. Signed. Unsigned. Three days of only the best and most diverse talent around, at over 50 venues. All free of charge. We really are spoiling you.

Ladies and gentleman, lads and lasses, welcome to Tramlines 2010. Now go on, get out there!
