One Shot Progress
Hailing from the North East, One Shot Progress are a rock trio with their sights set firmly on 2011.
Formed from the fallout of previous groups, they consist of guitarist / vocalist Adam Cook (Endometrium), drummer Mike Donnison (Just For Monday), and newcomer Micky Early on bass.
Drawing inspiration from late nineties / early noughties rock; ranging from Foo Fighters and Muse, to Limp Bizkit and Biffy Clyro, the band hope to create music that is equally adrenaline-charged as it is melodic.
In mid 2010 One Shot Progress made their live debut with gigs at the The Pearl Bar and The Studio, as well as recording tracks ‘Chances’, ‘Deal With It’ and ‘Gained Nothing’. They also recorded a cover version of Hell is for Heroes’ 2001 hit ‘I Can Climb Mountains’. All four tracks are available for streaming at www.myspace.com/oneshotprogress.
The band are currently unsigned, and are hoping to line up live dates throughout 2011, starting with a return to Hartlepool’s The Studio on January 15th. They are also looking to record new material.
